Job summary

Bushland Health is seeking staff to maintain a clean, comfortable, and homely environment for residents, ensuring meals are served at correct temperatures and residents are well cared for.

The role involves working as part of an integrated team to keep residents content, reporting any unusual observations to the Supervisor, and communicating respectfully with residents while showing empathy and supporting residents' dignity and independence wherever possible.

To be one of an integrated team to ensure that the residents in the facility are as contented as possible. Refer any unusual observations or problems to the appropriate Supervisor.

Communicates in a respectful manner to residents.

Empathetic with elderly and/or disabled people and is able to be calm and understanding in any dealings with them.

Willing to let people in their care make as many decisions of their own as is possible and is respectful of the resident's dignity and self-esteem.
