Job summary

St Vincent's Health Australia on the Gold Coast is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to join our compassionate care team at St Vincent's Care, Arundel. You will help create a welcoming and respectful environment for residents, working with dignity, kindness and attention to every detail.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience
• Laundry experience in healthcare desirable
• Chemical handling knowledge
• Identify unserviceable cleaning equipment
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
• Strong attention to detail and customer service
• Understanding of aged care and resident rights
• Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check may be required

Things that work for us

• Previous experience in a housekeeping services environment
• Previous laundry work experience in a health care environment desirable
• Chemical handling experience and knowledge
• Experience in identifying unserviceable or defect cleaning equipment
• An ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong attention to detail and high level of customer service skills
• Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities
• Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
