Job summary

Quest Woolooware Bay is seeking a Housekeeping / Room Attendant to join our casual team in Sydney. You will help deliver housekeeping and room attendant services for the apartments and clean common areas to uphold the Quest standard and guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is reliable, flexible, with strong interpersonal skills and a focus on safety. Australian residency or citizenship and Sydney residence are required; availability for weekends and public holidays is essential.

Job description

Quest Woolooware Bay is a newly designed 71 room retreat in the much-coveted Woolooware Bay precinct, neighbouring the Cronulla Sharks Rugby League Club and only minutes from the Wanda and Elouera Beaches. Guests can open their doors and amble down to the foreshore parklands to watch the sun set behind the city before heading back though ‘Bay Central’ for fresh produce or enjoying a meal cooked to perfection within the new Dining Precinct overlooking Woolooware Bay. Head into the city via nearby Woolooware Station or lap up some of the most incredible ocean views of Kamay Botany Bay National Park just next door.

At Quest Woolooware Bay we’re on the lookout for a newHousekeeping / Room Attendantto join our team on a casual basis. Ideally you are located in the Sutherland Shire or close by.

The Role

Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor the role involves hands on work in the delivery of housekeeping and room attendant services for the apartments and cleaning of common areas to ensure the presentation of our property in line with the high standards of the Quest brand and to ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction.

The Ideal Candidate

Will demonstrate a can-do, responsible, and flexible approach to work, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a passion for customer service, a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, strong leadership skills, and a strong appreciation of workplace safety.

Prior experience in housekeeping in a business environment is welcomed. All applicants must be an Australian Resident or Australian citizen. We will also only consider candidates who reside in Sydney, Australia.

The successful applicant must be available to work shifts, weekends and public holidays, and have entitlements to work in Australia.
