Job summary

ibis budget Gosford is seeking a hands-on Hotel Manager to lead operations, guest experience, and financial performance. You will report to the Vice President of Operations NSW & ACT, with support from the regional Accor team, and oversee day-to-day management to uphold the brand’s standards.

This role requires strategic thinking, team leadership, and a strong focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving sustainable business results.

Qualifications

• A qualification in hotel management (or hospitality, commerce or business) is highly regarded.
• Previous experience as an Operations or Hotel Manager.
• Ability to provide strategic direction to improve market performance and outcomes.
• Proven ownership relationships with stakeholders.
• Strong leadership to develop and motivate a senior team.
• Excellent project management and focus on customer service.

• Lead overall management and strategic direction of ibis budget Gosford to ensure guest experiences are exceptional.
• Build and maintain relationships with hotel owners, guests, suppliers, and the Accor network.
• Drive profitability through revenue growth, cost control, and pricing strategies.
• Review operational and financial performance across departments to improve productivity and service quality.
• Develop, empower, and lead a high-performing team aligned with Accor's Heartist values.
• Champion guest-centric service standards and oversee a live-in accommodation arrangement on-site.

The breakfast menu has been tastefully recast in the French style with an expanded range and selection complementing its Parisian mural and modern facilities.

Job Description

As the Hotel Manager of ibis budget Gosford, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of the hotel's operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences, strong commercial performance, and seamless day-to-day management. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations NSW & ACT, with support from the regional Accor team, you will play a key role in driving the hotel's success and achieving strategic business objectives.

This hands-on leadership position requires you to oversee operational excellence, financial performance, team development, and guest satisfaction. You will inspire and empower a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and service excellence. As the face of the hotel, you will build and maintain strong relationships with guests, business partners, and key stakeholders, ensuring ibis budget Gosford continues to uphold its reputation as a welcoming, efficient, and trusted destination for travellers.

Through your leadership, you will create an engaging environment for both guests and Heartists while delivering sustainable business results.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall management and strategic direction of ibis budget Gosford, ensuring the hotel consistently delivers exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and strong commercial performance.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including hotel owners, guests, suppliers, local businesses, and the broader Accor network.
• Drive the long-term profitability of the hotel by maximising revenue opportunities, managing costs effectively, and implementing sound yield and pricing strategies.
• Regularly review operational and financial performance across all departments, identifying opportunities to improve productivity, service quality, efficiency, and market competitiveness.
• Develop, inspire, and lead a high-performing team, fostering a positive workplace culture that reflects Accor's Heartist values and promotes employee engagement, growth, and accountability.
• Champion a guest-centric approach, ensuring service standards are consistently maintained and opportunities to enhance the guest experience are identified and implemented.
• This is a live-in position with accommodation provided in a self-contained one-bedroom apartment located onsite.
• Work a Tuesday to Saturday roster, including overnight stays during scheduled working days, while ensuring adequate leadership coverage and operational continuity during rostered days off.

Qualifications

• A qualification in hotel management, hospitality management, commerce or business administration would be highly regarded.

Previous experience as an Operations or Hotel Manager

The ability to provide strategic thought processes and direction to build market performance and business outcomes.

Proven strong and successful Ownership relationships.

Strong ability to develop, lead and motivate a team of experienced professionals.
