ibis budget Gosford seeks an experienced Hotel Manager to lead all aspects of the hotel's operations, aiming for exceptional guest experiences, strong commercial performance, and smooth day-to-day management.

Reporting to the Vice President of Operations NSW & ACT, you will inspire a high-performing team, foster a culture of accountability, manage revenue strategies, and build relationships with guests, partners and the Accor network to sustain the brand's welcoming and efficient guest

Qualifications

• A hotel/hospitality management qualification would be highly regarded.
• Experience as an Operations or Hotel Manager.
• Strong leadership and guest-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall management and strategic direction of ibis budget Gosford, ensuring the hotel consistently delivers exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and strong commercial performance.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including hotel owners, guests, suppliers, local businesses, and the Accor network.
• Drive long-term profitability by maximizing revenue opportunities, managing costs, and implementing sound yield and pricing strategies.
• Regularly review operational and financial performance across all departments, identifying opportunities to improve productivity, service quality, efficiency, and market competitiveness.
• Develop, inspire, and lead a high-performing team, fostering a positive workplace culture that reflects Accor's Heartist values and promotes engagement and accountability.
• Champion a guest-centric approach, ensuring service standards are consistently maintained and opportunities to enhance the guest experience are identified and implemented.
• This is a live-in position with accommodation provided in a self-contained one-bedroom apartment located onsite.
• Work a Tuesday to Saturday roster, including overnight stays during scheduled working days to cover leadership needs.

The ibis budget Gosford features 78 modern premium budget rooms, redefining budget and comfort for the Central Coast whilst blending style with practicality. Located at the entrance to the Central Coast, ibis budget Gosford has upgraded and restyled all guest rooms, and redesigned the breakfast room and reception areas, resulting in a modern and refreshing finish. The breakfast menu has been tastefully recast in the French style with an expanded range and selection complementing its Parisian mural and modern facilities.

Job Description

As the Hotel Manager of ibis budget Gosford, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of the hotel's operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences, strong commercial performance, and seamless day-to-day management. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations NSW & ACT, with support from the regional Accor team, you will play a key role in driving the hotel's success and achieving strategic business objectives.

This hands-on leadership position requires you to oversee operational excellence, financial performance, team development, and guest satisfaction. You will inspire and empower a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and service excellence. As the face of the hotel, you will build and maintain strong relationships with guests, business partners, and key stakeholders, ensuring ibis budget Gosford continues to uphold its reputation as a welcoming, efficient, and trusted destination for travellers. Through your leadership, you will create an engaging environment for both guests and Heartists while delivering sustainable business results.

Regularly review operational and financial performance across all departments, identifying opportunities to improve productivity, service quality, efficiency, and market competitiveness.

Develop, inspire, and lead a high-performing team, fostering a positive workplace culture that reflects Accor's Heartist values and promotes employee engagement, growth, and accountability.

Champion a guest‑centric approach, ensuring service standards are consistently maintained and opportunities to enhance the guest experience are identified and implemented.

This is a live‑in position with accommodation provided in a self‑contained one‑bedroom apartment located onsite.

Work a Tuesday to Saturday roster, including overnight stays during scheduled working days, while ensuring adequate leadership coverage and operational continuity during rostered days off.

Qualifications

A qualification in hotel management, hospitality management, commerce or business administration would be highly regarded.

Previous experience as an Operations or Hotel Manager

The ability to provide strategic thought processes and direction to build market performance and business outcomes.

Proven strong and successful Ownership relationships.

Strong ability to develop, lead and motivate a team of experienced professionals.

Excellent project management abilities

A strong focus on customer service and passionate about guest experiences
