Job summary

Crowne Plaza Sydney Airport is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. This is a hands-on role supporting the Maintenance Manager with the day-to-day maintenance of our guest rooms, public areas and hotel facilities.

You’ll perform general maintenance and repairs, assist with preventative tasks, prioritise work orders, and guide a small maintenance team while coordinating contractors and maintaining WHS records.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel, commercial building or general maintenance.
• Practical, hands-on approach with good problem-solving skills.
• Experience working across general repairs, basic plumbing, painting, carpentry and building maintenance.
• Ability to prioritise jobs and work independently.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with other departments.
• Previous experience supporting or supervising a small maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel
• Assist with preventative maintenance and routine inspections
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely manner
• Support and guide the maintenance team with day-to-day tasks
• Identify maintenance issues and escalate more complex or specialised repairs
• Assist with coordinating contractors and external service providers when required
• Maintain maintenance records, equipment and stock
• Follow hotel, WHS and safety procedures
