Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts – Mascot NSW

At Crowne Plaza Sydney Airport, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Executive Housekeeper to lead our in-house Housekeeping team.

This is a key leadership role where you’ll oversee the day-to-day Housekeeping operation, lead and develop your team, and ensure our guest rooms and hotel spaces consistently deliver the high standards our guests expect.

What you'll do:

• Lead and oversee the daily operations of our in-house Housekeeping department, including guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house areas
• Lead, coach, motivate and develop the Housekeeping team to deliver consistently high standards
• Manage staffing levels, rosters and productivity to support efficient daily operations
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure rooms and public areas meet hotel and brand standards
• Monitor guest feedback and work with Front Office and other departments to resolve issues promptly
• Manage housekeeping supplies, linen and inventory, ensuring effective stock control and cost management
• Develop and maintain housekeeping procedures, checklists and quality control processes
• Work closely with Maintenance to ensure room and facility issues are identified and resolved
• Monitor labour costs, productivity and departmental performance
• Recruit, train and recognise team members, creating a positive and supportive team culture
• Ensure compliance with WHS requirements, hotel policies and IHG brand standards

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience as an Executive Housekeeper, Housekeeping Manager or similar senior housekeeping role
• Experience leading and developing a diverse Housekeeping team
• Strong understanding of hotel housekeeping operations, quality standards and productivity
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Commercial awareness and experience managing labour, stock and departmental costs
• A strong eye for detail and commitment to high standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work calmly and effectively in a fast-paced hotel environment
• Experience with housekeeping or hotel systems is desirable
• Flexibility to work across a 7-day hotel operation, including weekends and public holidays when required
• Full working rights in Australia. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
