Job summary

Holiday Inn Perth City Centre, part-time Kitchen Attendant, invites applications from motivated individuals to keep our culinary areas pristine and efficient. You will assist chefs, handle food preparation tasks, and help maintain the cleanliness of all kitchen spaces in support of a high-standard guest experience.

Applicants should have a Food Handling Certificate, domestic working rights, and be available for a variety of shifts across a seven-day roster in a dynamic hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Passion for delivering great service.
• Previous experience as a Kitchen Attendant in a busy kitchen.
• Food Handling Certificate.
• Willingness to learn new things and work as part of a wider hotel team.
• Flexible to work evenings, early mornings, weekends and public holidays across a seven-day roster.
• Working rights in Australia.
• Current national police clearance (not older than 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Clean and sterilise countertops, walls, stoves, ovens, grills, sinks and cooking equipment.
• Maintain food storage areas.
• Receive and organise deliveries to the kitchen.
• Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation, cutting, peeling and washing.
• Remove kitchen waste and wash dirty dishes.
