Job description

Hotel General Manager | Adina Hotel Darling Harbour

Perfectly positioned on King Street Wharf, moments from Barangaroo, the CBD and ICC Sydney, Adina Hotel Darling Harbour has reopened following a full transformation, a premium waterfront hotel offering guests refreshed accommodation, a prime location and space to stay their own way.

With the doors now open and the introduction of Shoreline Kitchen, the hotel is building real momentum as both a sought-after place to stay and a vibrant local dining destination.

This is a rare opportunity to join early in the hotel's journey and help take a strong reopening into lasting success.

About the role

As Hotel General Manager, you'll take ownership of the hotel's overall performance; leading a high performing team across Rooms, Food & Beverage and Guest Services, and ensuring every guest experience is seamless and memorable.

You'll lead by example, bring calm to complexity, and play a key role in financial planning, strategic direction and building on the strong foundations already in place. • Building the culture - You'll develop and inspire high performing teams through visible, authentic leadership, fostering accountability, engagement and service excellence at every level.
  • Growing Shoreline Kitchen - You'll drive the continued evolution and market positioning of the venue, supporting creative F&B activations, partnerships and local engagement initiatives that build patronage and profile.
  • Owning the numbers - You'll manage budgets, forecasting, profitability and strategic business planning, identifying opportunities to grow patronage, revenue and market share without compromising quality.
  • Shaping the experience - You'll introduce innovative concepts and product enhancements that elevate the guest journey, embedding the hotel and Shoreline Kitchen within the local community.
  • Holding the standard - From WHS and food safety compliance to brand standards across Rooms and F&B, you'll keep the bar high while building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
