Job summary

Amora Hotel Jamison Sydney is seeking motivated casual Bar/Food & Beverage Attendant for Silo Bar and Brooksy Bar. You will work under the Director of Food & Beverage, delivering seamless, friendly service and crafting cocktails with passion.

The role targets individuals with strong guest focus, a deep interest in cocktails, and a commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork within a premium hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' Food & Beverage experience, preferably in a hotel, restaurant, cocktail bar, or premium hospitality environment.
• Good knowledge of cocktails, spirits, liqueurs, mixers, garnishes, and standard cocktail recipes.
• Practical bartending skills: shaking, stirring, muddling, measuring, presentation.
• Similar roles in hotel or premium hospitality are valued.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and attend to guests in a warm, professional, and engaging manner.
• Serve food and beverages across restaurants, bars, conferences, and events.
• Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails, wines, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cocktail recipes, ingredients, flavour profiles, garnishes, and glassware.
• Apply bartending techniques including shaking, stirring, muddling, layering, straining, and measuring.
• Maintain bar mise en place, stock levels, and clean bar stations.
• Operate Micros POS, process payments, and manage orders efficiently.
• Follow RSA, hygiene, and safety procedures.
• Work as part of a team while maintaining service quality during busy periods.
