Reine & La Rue in Melbourne is seeking experienced front of house hosts to welcome guests, manage reservations and support service flow. You’ll be the first point of contact, ensuring a warm arrival and seamless dining experience at our premium venue.

We operate seven days a week with lunch and dinner services, offering opportunities to work up to full-time hours and across the Edition Hospitality portfolio with ongoing training and development.

Competenze

• 2+ years experience in front of house or host role at premium venues.
• Experience using reservations platforms (SevenRooms or similar).
• Passion for hospitality and guest service excellence.
• Excellent communication, organisation and attention to detail.
• Current Victorian RSA certificate and ability to work rotating rosters.

Mansioni

• Greet guests and manage arrivals to ensure a seamless welcome.

Reine & La Rue is a two-hatted modern French restaurant located within Melbourne's original Stock Exchange building on the corner of Queen and Collins Streets. Since opening in 2023, the venue has become one of the city's most celebrated dining destinations.

Set beneath soaring vaulted ceilings and Gothic Revival architecture, Reine pairs refined French cooking with exceptional Victorian produce, while La Rue offers an intimate wine and cocktail experience centred around one of Australia's most distinctive wine collections. Together, they create a dining experience defined by generosity, excellence and a strong sense of place.

The Opportunity

We're looking for experienced and passionate hosts to join the team at Reine & La Rue.

As the first point of contact for our guests, you'll create a warm, seamless arrival experience while managing reservations and supporting the flow of service. This is a dynamic Front of House role, hosting while also assisting across other areas of service as needed. With busy lunch and dinner services running seven days a week, this role offers the opportunity to work up to full-time hours.

Our ideal candidate will have

• 2+ years experience in a similar role within premium venues
• Experience using SevenRooms or a similar reservations platform
• A genuine passion for hospitality and exceptional guest service
• Outstanding communication, organisational skills and attention to detail
• A current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate (RSA)
• Availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends
