The Meat & Wine Co. is seeking experienced Restaurant Hosts to join our professional and hardworking team. As the first point of contact for our restaurant, you will deliver exceptional customer service with high attention to detail.

Part-time or casual positions are available. Located conveniently near public transport, our busy restaurant sits within a large national group that offers ongoing career growth and development. RSA certification and impeccable grooming are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in guest services within the restaurant, hotel or tourism industry.
• Previous experience in an A La Carte environment is an advantage.
• Greeting and seating guests.
• SevenRooms experience is an advantage.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
• A genuine passion for food, people and the overall hospitality experience.
• Current RSA certificate.
• Impeccable presentation, hygiene and grooming standards.
• Attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Flexible availability over a 7 day rotating roster.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests to ensure a warm welcome.
• Support the front-of-house team and maintain smooth dining flow.
• Assist guests with menus and special requests while upholding service standards.
