Job summary

BlueCare, part of UnitingCare, seeks a Hospitality Officer to support residents in an Australian aged care facility. You will prepare, cook and deliver meals, adhere to food safety standards and dietary needs, and assist with daily operations including housekeeping and laundry while maintaining high hygiene standards.

NDIS screening or willingness to obtain, plus strong communication and attention to detail, are required.

Qualifications

  • Prior hospitality experience in kitchen or cleaning.
  • Enthusiasm and strong self-motivation.
  • Great communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain.
  • Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.

Responsibilities

Hospitality Officer | BlueCare | Location Employment Status: Permanent Part Time Location: Aged Care Facility Remuneration: $30.05 p/hr + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay) + Allowances & Travel Reimbursement (KM’s) + Employee discounts

About the role:
  • As a Hospitality Officer, you will be driven, organised and take pride in your presentation and providing support to residents.
  • Prepare, cook and deliver food in adherence with Australian food safety standards and dietary requirements of our elderly residents.
  • Be willing to support senior hospitality staff members with daily operations which may include housekeeping and laundry services.
  • Be required to uphold impeccable hygiene standards.
Role requirements:
  • Prior hospitality experience in kitchen or cleaning.
