Job summary

BlueCare Kingaroy Aged Care Facility, part of the UnitingCare family, seeks a Hospitality Officer on casual terms. You will prepare and deliver meals, support daily operations including housekeeping and laundry, and maintain high hygiene standards in a compassionate aged care setting.

Qualifications

• Prior hospitality experience in kitchen or cleaning.
• Enthusiasm and strong self-motivation.
• Great communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain; confidence to satisfy probity checks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and deliver food in adherence with Australian food safety standards and dietary requirements of residents.
• Assist senior hospitality staff with daily operations including housekeeping and laundry.
• Uphold impeccable hygiene standards.

About the role:

This is a unique employment opportunity for Hospitality Workers to restore their work life balance and gain employment in one of Australia's fastest growing industries. As aHospitality Officer, you will be driven, organised and take pride in your presentation and providing support to residents with the following tasks:

• Prepare, cook and deliver food in adherence with Australian food safety standards and dietary requirements of our elderly residents
• Be willing to support senior hospitality staff members with daily operations which may include housekeeping and laundry services
• Be required to uphold impeccable hygiene standards

Role requirements:

• Prior hospitality experience in kitchen or cleaning

• Great communication skills and excellent attention to detail
• NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
