Job summary

G'day Group's Discovery Parks, Blackwater is seeking a hands-on kitchen team member to support our chef with food prep, dishwashing and maintaining a clean, safe workspace on site. You will help stock supplies, keep storage areas organized, and work with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service for our guests and staff.

Ideal applicants bring proven kitchen experience, a commitment to food safety, reliability with flexible hours (weekends and public holidays), and a current driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial kitchen environment.
• Knowledge of food safety standards.
• Current valid driver’s licence.
• Team oriented but able to work autonomously.
• Excellent time management.

Responsibilities

• Assist our Chef in food preparation and delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, storage rooms and dining areas.
• Stocking and organizing supplies and produce.
• Dish washing.
• Adhere to food safety standards.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient operations.
