Job summary

La Vie Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Financial Controller to partner with Australian hotels from our Sydney Head Office. You will own month-end close, financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting across the portfolio, and drive profitability with hotel leadership.

The role requires CA/CPA qualification (or near completion) and 3+ years in hospitality finance. Expect modern cloud systems, cross-functional collaboration, and opportunities to grow as the group expands.

Qualifications

• Experience with hospitality finance or hotel operations preferred.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret financial data for non-financial managers.
• Professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA) or near completion.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close and balance sheet reconciliation for hotel portfolio.
• Prepare monthly forecasts, annual budgets and business plans.
• Analyse hotel performance, explain variances and provide recommendations to General Managers.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve profitability, payroll productivity and financial processes.
• Ensure timely financial reporting and compliance with GST/BAS/PAYG and internal controls.
