Job summary

Infinite Aged Care is seeking a hands-on Commercial Kitchen Assistant to support food preparation, plating, and meal service for residents. You'll assist with dietary needs, maintain high kitchen cleanliness, and help set up dining rooms for each service.

Working with our Chef Manager and Hotel Services Team, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate reliability and teamwork, and contribute to safe food handling and WHS practices every day.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial kitchen, preferably 6–12 months.
• Hospitality or kitchen experience or strong interest in developing these skills.
• Strong communication, initiative and attention to detail are essential.
• Reliable, adaptable team player able to thrive in a busy kitchen.

• Support dietary needs, including texture‑modified and allergen‑aware meals.
• Maintain high standards of kitchen and dining cleanliness.

Join a fast‑paced commercial kitchen environment where you’ll build hands‑on skills in food preparation, plating, and kitchen operations. Working with our Chef Manager and Hotel Services Team, you’ll help deliver high‑quality meals that make a real difference in residents’ daily lives.

About the Role

• At least 6 - 12 months of working experience in Commercial Kitchen ideally from Sports Clubs or RSLs or Bowls Club or Hotel/Motel background or in a similar setting preferably
• Assist with food prep, plating, and meal service in a commercial kitchen.
• Support dietary needs, including texture‑modified and allergen‑aware meals.
• Maintain high standards of kitchen and dining cleanliness.
• Set up and reset dining rooms and equipment for each service.
• Follow food safety and WHS procedures.
• Work as part of a supportive, fast‑moving team.

This role is a physical & fast paced with a lot of variety, you will do a lot of bending, squatting, lifting and pushing items to carry out your daily tasks safely. It is important you can perform these tasks without risk of injury to yourself, your colleagues and our residents.

About You
