Job summary

Infinite Aged Care is seeking a hands-on kitchen helper to support food prep, plating, and meal service in a fast-paced commercial kitchen. You will work with our Chef Manager and Hotel Services Team to deliver high-quality meals that support residents' daily lives.

We welcome hospitality experience or students in Commercial Cookery who want practical skills. The role demands strong communication, reliability, and the ability to thrive in a busy kitchen with varied shifts, while maintaining food

• Hospitality or commercial kitchen experience (or a strong interest in developing these skills).
• Students completing or planning Commercial Cookery studies who want to build practical, hands‑on skills that directly support their training.
• Strong communication, initiative, and attention to detail skills.
• Reliable, adaptable team players who thrive in a busy kitchen environment and have the availability to support a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food prep, plating, and meal service in a commercial kitchen.
• Support dietary needs, including texture‑modified and allergen‑aware meals.
• Maintain high standards of kitchen and dining cleanliness.
• Set up and reset dining rooms and equipment for each service.
• Follow food safety and WHS procedures.
• Work as part of a supportive, fast‑moving team.

This role is a physical & fast paced with a lot of variety, you will do a lot of bending, squatting, lifting and pushing items to carry out your daily tasks safely. It is important you can perform these tasks without risk of injury to yourself, your colleagues and our residents.

About You
