Job summary

Healthscope is seeking a full-time Store Person/Supply Officer for Darwin Private Hospital. The role focuses on efficient stock management, order placing, receiving and invoice processing to support hospital departments.

You will work with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure optimal inventory levels, cost-efficient purchasing and continuous improvement in a fast-paced healthcare setting. A proactive, organized professional with strong customer service skills will fit well.

Qualifications

• Experience with stock control or inventory management in a healthcare or hospital setting preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
• Good IT literacy and familiarity with basic stock/invoice systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and reliable service to hospital departments and support operational processes.
• Maintain stock inventory levels and manage stock ordering, receiving and invoice processing.
• Support cost-efficient purchasing and continuous improvement within a busy healthcare environment.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure reliable supply services.
• Demonstrate leadership in operational direction for the department and meet contractual requirements.
• Maintain compliance with IT systems and Working with Children Clearance as required.
