Job summary

St Vincent's Health Australia invites applications for a Hospital Scientist in Haematology at St Vincent’s Public Hospital, Sydney. You will deliver high-quality pathology testing across automated haematology and coagulation, with emphasis on accuracy and timely reporting to clinicians.

You will contribute to quality systems, support staff training, and engage in ongoing professional development within a renowned health precinct allied with Garvan and Victor Chang institutes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Medical Laboratory Science with haematology and immunology studies.
  • Hands-on experience with automated haematology and morphology.
  • Experience in routine coagulation and blood transfusion desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality pathology testing across automated haematology and routine coagulation.
  • Identify and communicate critical results to clinicians and relevant locations.
