Job summary

Hunter New England Local Health District is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the team at Scone Hospital and related sites. You will dispense medications, prepare sterile stock and formulations, and ensure safe handling in a fast-paced environment working with pharmacists and technicians.

Experience with imprest systems is desirable, and applicants should be organised, reliable and dedicated to high‑quality service. Weekend/public holiday rosters and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited Pharmacy Technician Certificate III.
• Experience in Hospital Pharmacy or Community Dispensary or equivalent.
• Experience managing an imprest system is desirable.
• Organised, reliable and passionate about safe, high‑quality pharmacy services.
