Job summary

Icon Group is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join Slade Pharmacy Grey Street, located on the ground floor of St. Vincent’s Private Hospital, East Melbourne.

You will assist in preparing prescriptions, handling customer queries, and ensuring timely supply of medications in a supportive, hospital-based setting. The role offers part-time hours Tue–Fri with shift variations, a pathway to hospital pharmacy exposure, and training to transition from community to hospital practice within a growing

Qualifications

• Dispensing experience in an Australian hospital or community pharmacy.
• Maintain confidentiality, sensitivity, and professionalism with patients.
• High attention to detail in a busy pharmacy environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality pharmacy services to hospital staff, patients and customers.
• Dispense and supply medications for hospital and community patients.
• Assist with imprest and pharmacy inventory management.
• Deliver and collect medications to and from hospital wards.
• Enter patient-specific data into the pharmacy database.
• Assist with patient account enquiries and resolving issues.
• Liaise with hospital staff and associated personnel.
• Support the pharmacy team with general administrative tasks.
