Slade Pharmacy Burnside, located in the Burnside Hospital Toorak Gardens, is hiring a permanent full-time Pharmacy Technician to dispense medications for hospital patients and support the pharmacy team. The role offers weekdays, 76 hours per fortnight, with no evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience dispensing medication in Australian hospital or community pharmacy.
• Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS).

Responsibilities

• Dispense medication for hospital patients.
• Assist with administration tasks.
• Serve customers and discharge patients and assist with queries and OTC needs.
• Order, scan and deliver Imprest medications around wards.
• Order and maintain medications for the dispensary.
• Prepare for and conduct pharmacy stocktakes.
• Assist with receipting invoices.
• Assist in setup and management of clinical trials.
