Job summary

Slade Pharmacy Northside is seeking a Hospital Pharmacist for a 6-month, full-time contract located at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside. The role offers exposure to hospital-based medication management and collaboration with clinical teams to optimise patient care.

Applicants should be registered Pharmacists with at least 2 years of practice. Previous hospital experience is highly regarded, and on-site work is required for the duration of the contract.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with unrestricted AHPRA status.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a pharmacist.
• Permanent Australian working rights.
• Willingness to commit to a 6-month full-time contract with occasional weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medication chart reviews and reconciliation.
• Dispense and supply medications and pharmacy products.
• Coordinate inpatient, day infusion and discharge medication needs.
• Develop relationships with clinicians and staff to support patient care.
• Educate staff and patients on medicine use and safety.
