Job summary

Icon Oncology Group's Slade Pharmacy on the NSW Central Coast is seeking a Pharmacist for a 12-month contract to cover maternity leave. You will work at Brisbane Waters Private Hospital and Gosford Private Hospital, with weekday shifts and no weekend commitments.

This role offers exposure to hospital pharmacy and specialised areas such as surgical, mental health, rehabilitation, geriatrics and infectious diseases, within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Patient-centred approach and strong attention to detail.
• Clear communication with patients and healthcare teams.
• Ability to work in a hospital pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medication chart reviews and reconciliation.
• Dispense and supply medications and pharmacy products.
• Coordinate patient medication requirements for inpatient stay, day infusions and discharge.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders to ensure excellent service.
• Support patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees.
• Educate and advise staff and customers on health promotion and proper use of medicines.
• Review and complete monthly reports.
