Job summary

Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth is seeking a Maintenance & Facilities Manager to oversee all maintenance operations at RHSP. The role handles planning, scheduling, and coordinating preventive maintenance and repairs to keep the residence safe and welcoming for residents, visitors, volunteers and staff.

The position is part-time (approx 24 hours/week) with weekday schedule and some after-hours/weekend on-call.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Post-secondary education in building and grounds maintenance or related field preferred.
• Trade certifications (electrician, plumber, HVAC) considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all maintenance work to properly maintain RHSP.
• Procurement, coordination and monitoring of service contractors and preventive maintenance.
• Identify and resolve maintenance issues as they arise.
• Liaise with IT contractors as needed.
• Oversee hospice grounds and gardens maintenance; support contractors and volunteers.
