Solutions+ is seeking a dedicated horticulture operative to maintain turf, garden beds, and landscaped areas in Geelong. You will operate mowing equipment, assist with seasonal planting, and help ensure site safety and irrigation systems are kept in good repair.

The role requires a Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks and Gardens (preferred), a current MR Licence with own transport, and compliance checks (National Police Check, Working with Children Check).

• Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks and Gardens preferred.
• Current MR Licence and own transport.
• National Police Check.
• Working with Children Check.

Responsabilités

• Mow, edge, and maintain turf areas to site specifications.
• Weed, mulch, and maintain garden beds and landscaped areas.
• Prune shrubs, hedges, and small trees to maintain presentation.
• Operate plant and equipment such as mowers, brush cutters and blowers.
• Assist with seasonal planting and garden rejuvenation works.
• Apply fertilisers and basic weed and pest control treatments.
• Inspect and report plant health, turf condition, and site issues.
• Maintain irrigation systems including basic checks and repairs.
• Keep hard surfaces, pathways, and outdoor areas clean and safe.
• Follow WHS procedures and site safety requirements at all times.
• Complete daily work tasks and report progress to supervisors.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in a clean, serviceable condition.

About The Candidate

• Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks and Gardens (Preferred)
• Current Driver's licence (MR Licence required) and own transport
• National Police Check
