Job summary

Grima Recycling Pty Ltd in Sydney seeks a dedicated Heavy Vehicle Driver to operate a hook truck for recycling collections. Your role emphasizes safety, punctuality, and professional customer service.

You will handle loading/unloading of hook lift bins, complete daily logs, and ensure CoR compliance. Training is provided, and full-time stable employment awaits the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Hold a current HR (Heavy Rigid) driver’s license.
• Experience with hook trucks is a plus, but on-the-job training is available.
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Willingness to learn and apply Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a hook truck to collect and transport recyclable materials such as cardboard and paper.

Job description

Load and unload hook lift bins of various sizes at customer sites, ensuring secure placement and transportation.

Perform regular vehicle checks and ensure the truck is maintained in good working condition.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and daily logbooks in compliance with company and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) regulations.

Liaise with customers to ensure their specific recycling needs are met professionally and efficiently.

Adhere to all road safety regulations and company safety protocols.
