Job summary

SKIPS4U is seeking an experienced Hook Truck / Skip Bin Truck Driver to join our busy Gold Coast team. This full-time role involves delivering and collecting bins, changesovers at construction sites, and maintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness.

Ideal applicants hold an HR or HC licence, have hook bin experience, and strong safety and communication skills. Knowledge of the Gold Coast/Brisbane area and White Card are highly valued. Modern fleet and plenty of hours available.

Qualifications

• Current HR or HC licence required.
• Construction site experience preferred.
• White Card is required.
• Strong safety awareness and good communication skills are essential.
• Reliable and punctual with a can-do attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and collecting skip bins and hook bins.

• Safely loading, unloading and securing bins.

• Completing daily vehicle checks.
• Keeping truck clean and well maintained.

Hook & Skip Bin Truck Driver

SKIPS4U is looking for an experienced and reliable Hook Truck / Skip Bin Truck Driver to join our growing team servicing the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Tweed Heads.

We’re a busy waste management company with a modern fleet and a large range of skip and hook bins. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, looks after their truck and can provide great service to our commercial and construction clients.

About the Role

This is a full-time driving position operating either our hook trucks, skip trucks, or both depending on your experience.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Delivering and collecting skip bins and hook bins

• Completing bin changeovers across construction and commercial sites

• Safely loading, unloading and securing bins

• Communicating with customers and our operations team

• Completing daily vehicle checks

• Keeping your truck clean and well maintained

• Following site safety requirements and company procedures

• Using our booking/job system to complete allocated runs

What We're Looking For

Ideally you will have:

• Current HR or HC licence

• Previous hook truck and/or skip bin experience preferred

• Good knowledge of the Gold Coast and Brisbane areas

• Construction site experience

• White Card

• Strong safety awareness

• Good communication skills

• Reliable and punctual attitude

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience in waste management, hook lift trucks, skip loaders or similar heavy vehicle operations will be highly regarded.
