Job summary

Youturn is a national not-for-profit organisation providing homelessness, mental health and community services. We seek a caring Team Leader to guide our Specialist Homelessness Service, overseeing Support Workers and Case Officers in accommodation and outreach programs.

You will lead assessments, develop individualised support plans, ensure compliance and reporting, and contribute to service procedures. A driver licence and blue card are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Cert IV in Social Housing or equivalent experience.
• Tertiary qualifications in Community Services or related field.
• Demonstrated experience in homelessness/social housing.
• Strong knowledge of client-centred case management.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team delivering homelessness intervention and case management.
• Coordinate initial client assessments and oversee the development of individualised support plans.
• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting in line with funding requirements.
• Maintain service manuals and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Represent Youturn in community forums and networks.
• Participate in on-call duties as required.
