Job summary

Hornsby Shire Council is seeking a skilled professional to lead home modification and maintenance projects for older people and those with disability, keeping them safe and independent at home.

You will assess needs with clients, occupational therapists, and contractors; prepare scopes of work and quotations; coordinate projects from start to finish, supervise contractors, and ensure quality, safety and regulatory compliance across all works.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in building maintenance, renovation or construction projects.
• Experience coordinating contractors and managing project delivery.
• Knowledge of home modifications, building legislation and WHS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated delivery of home modification and maintenance projects.
• Coordinate projects from commencement through to completion.
• Supervise contractors and ensure safety, quality and compliance.
