Bendigo Bank is seeking a Home Lending Specialist to join our Perth CBD branch. The role supports occasional coverage at Joondalup and involves managing end-to-end lending journeys for customers.

You will build a lending pipeline, guide customers through the process, and apply credit analysis to achieve positive lending outcomes while fostering community connections.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering customer service or sales outcomes in banking.
• Strong knowledge of lending products, policies and regulations.
• Ability to build rapport and assess customer needs quickly.
• Solid credit analysis skills relevant to lending decisions.
• Understanding of small business lending offerings.
• Experience with consumer lending is essential.

Your role as a Home Lending Specialistis to deliver an exceptional experience by working with customers to meet their end-to-end banking needs.

Whether you’re guiding first home buyers create a plan to purchase, or supporting a seasoned investor, you’ll play an integral part of helping our customers through the lending journey and driving growth.

• Building a pipeline of lending leads. Keeping track of and nurturing these relationships throughout their buying journey using our CRM.
• Guiding customers through the lending process, giving them peace of mind that we’re here to help them achieve their goals.
• Leveraging your credit analysis expertise and understanding of customer needs ensuring positive lending outcomes for all and to future ready your customers for financial success.
• Building strong, relationship-centric connections with the community, the branch, and Branch Manager to deliver effective lending outcomes for customers.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in our Perth CBD branch. However, we would love the successful candidate to have some flexibility to occasionally support our Joondalup location. The roster is 76 hours per fortnight.

What you’ll bring to the role

To succeed in this role, you’ll consistently deliver exceptional customer service. We’d love you to have:

• Extensive experience in customer service or sales
• High level of understanding of lending products, policies and regulations
• An ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and colleagues quickly, assess their needs and a develop a holistic view of their situation
• Highly developed credit analysis skills
• An understanding of small business offerings
• Consumer lending experience – this is essential
