Job summary

Life Without Barriers is hiring for three permanent part-time Support Workers in New South Wales. You must be available for all listed shifts across weeks, including early mornings and weekend blocks.

The role focuses on personal care, transportation, and community engagement for clients with disabilities. Applicants should have a current First Aid certificate (HLTAID003 or HLTAID011), a valid unrestricted driver’s licence, and be comfortable driving a work van.

Qualifications

• Must be able to drive a work van for client transport.
• Hold a current unrestricted driver’s licence.
• Able to use apps and digital tools for client records.
• Current First Aid Certificate HLTAID003 or HLTAID011.

Responsibilities

• Support clients to engage in hobbies such as live music, arts and crafts and op shopping.
• Assist with daily personal care including bathing, shaving and toileting.
• Medication assistance and administration.
• Mobility assistance – lifting, transferring and hoisting clients.
• Foster community connection and engagement.
• Empower clients by promoting choice, independence, and participation.
