Job summary

3Bridges Community is seeking a Home Cleaner to support older people in Sydney’s community. Join a caring team delivering cleaning and domestic support in clients’ homes, helping maintain safety and wellbeing with flexible permanent part-time hours.

You will work independently to meet client needs, follow preferences, and document any safety concerns, while upholding dignity and respect in every home. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Residential cleaning experience desirable but not essential.
• High attention to detail and high cleaning standards.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
• Friendly and professional communication skills.
• Current NSW Driver Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain.
• Current and unrestricted Australian working rights.
• Physical ability to undertake cleaning duties, including bending, lifting and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform general household cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping and sanitising surfaces.
• Clean bathrooms, kitchens, living areas and bedrooms to a high standard.
• Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding and ironing.
• Replenish household supplies and maintain tidy, organised living spaces.
• Follow individual client preferences and specific cleaning requirements.
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns or damage as required.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality and respect for clients' homes and belongings.
• Work independently while providing high-quality, client-focused service.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience in residential, aged care or community settings is desirable but not essential

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards

• Excellent time management and organisational skills

• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently

• Friendly and professional communication skills

• Current NSW Driver Licence and access to a reliable vehicle

• Current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain

• Current and unrestricted Australian working rights

• Physical ability to undertake cleaning duties, including bending, lifting and standing for extended periods

Additional language skills are highly valued, particularly Chinese, Greek or Arabic, to support clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
