Job summary

3Bridges Community is seeking a Home Care Worker to support older people in their own homes across Sydney. This permanent part-time role offers flexibility and stability, with opportunities to provide personal care, domestic assistance and social support to clients in their homes.

You will build meaningful relationships, monitor wellbeing, and work with the Community Care team to deliver person-centred care. Language skills in Chinese, Greek or Arabic are valued.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience supporting older people or vulnerable members of the community.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of person-centred care.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate, or willingness to obtain.
• Current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain.
• Current NSW Driver Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Current and unrestricted Australian working rights.
• Additional language skills are highly valued, particularly Chinese, Greek or Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, domestic assistance and social support to clients in their homes.
• Support clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation, shopping, cleaning and appointments.
• Build positive relationships with clients and support their independence, wellbeing and social connection.
• Monitor client wellbeing, report any changes or concerns, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Work collaboratively with the broader care team to deliver high-quality, person-centred support
