Job summary

Fuse Recruitment is hiring a Home Assessor for an insurer's Home Claims team in Adelaide. You will assess properties virtually, prepare repair scopes and advise on policy coverage and repair methods. You’ll work closely with customers, builders and internal claims teams to achieve quality outcomes.

Ideal candidates will have residential building, estimating or insurance assessing experience, strong stakeholder management and the ability to manage multiple claims with excellent time management.

Qualifications

• Residential building experience required.
• Experience estimating repair scopes for insurance or construction projects.
• Knowledge of restoration or building methods preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual assessments of insured residential properties.
• Prepare scopes of works and determine repair solutions.
• Provide technical advice on policy coverage and repair methods.
• Manage claims through the repair process with quality and customer satisfaction.
• Build relationships with customers, builders and internal teams.
• Complete reports and documentation within service standards.
• Assist during catastrophe (CAT) events as required.
