Job summary

My Guardian is seeking caring individuals to join our team in Captains Flat NSW. The role involves providing high-quality, person-centred care, companionship, and support with daily activities to help clients live with dignity and independence.

We value reliability, compassion, and the ability to work flexible shifts across a casual/vacation arrangement in a NSW location. Training and development are provided, with opportunities for ongoing placement within our supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience providing domestic assistance (cleaning, laundry, meal prep)
• Experience supporting clients with transport to appointments and activities
• Current First Aid and a valid police check are required or willing to obtain them

Responsibilities of this role will include, but not limited to:

Offer companionship and emotional support to promote wellbeing and reduce loneliness.

Carry out light household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.

Monitor and record changes in clients’ health or behaviour, reporting concerns promptly.

Maintain accurate care records and ensure dignity, privacy, and safeguarding at all times.

Skills, Experiences and Qualifications:.

Experience providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe home environment.

Experience supporting clients with transport to appointments, shopping, and social activities, promoting independence and community engagement.

Strong ability to accurately document services provided, record incidents, and complete reports in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.

Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent is a plus

A valid NDIS Check, or willing to obtain one

Current First Aid Certificate, as this is necessary to complete personal care

Valid police check, or is willing to obtain one
