Care Connect is seeking motivated individuals to provide in home care to Out of Hospital Care and Aged Care clients in North Sydney and surrounding areas. The role focuses on enabling clients to live independently and safely at home for longer.

Responsibilities include personal care, domestic tasks, meal planning and mobility support. Requirements include a valid Australian work rights, driver’s license, Police Check, WWC, First Aid/CPR, and 3 COVID-19 vaccinations.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual Support or Home and Community Care, or Nursing qualification (first year allowed)
• Minimum 3 months paid experience in aged care or community care
• Right to Work in Australia; Driver's license and own reliable vehicle; Police Check; Working with Children Check; First Aid and CPR; 3 COVID-19 vaccinations

  Responsibilities of the Homecare Support Worker:

  • Personal grooming and hygiene assistance including medication reminders
  • Domestic duties including cleaning and laundry
  • Food shopping, menu planning and meal preparation
  • Mobility assistance within the home/local community
  • Must possess strong care factor to prioritise client well-being

  Requirements of the role:

  • Right to Workin Australia
  • Driver's licence and own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Minimum of 3 COVID-19 vaccinations
  • Certificate III (Aged Care/Individual Support OR Home and Community Care), OR Bach/Dip of Nursing (OR completed first-year study towards it)
  • Minimum 3 months ofpaid experienceworking within the aged care or community care sector
  • A fantastic attitude and genuine interest in helping others
