Job summary

BaptistCare NSW & ACT is seeking a Care Worker to provide at-home support for older Australians in the Cowra area. You will help with daily tasks such as cleaning, showering, dressing, meal prep, medication assistance, and transport, building genuine connections with clients in their own homes.

The role offers flexible hours, an orientation program, a dedicated supervisor, a smartphone to access client plans, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• You will hold an unrestricted Australian Driver Licence and a reliable vehicle to transport clients.
• You will communicate effectively with clients and the care team.
• You will be comfortable using smartphone apps and email.

Responsibilities

• Assist with household tasks and personal care (showering, dressing, meal prep).
• Provide medication assistance and transport to appointments or activities.
• Build genuine connections to support independence at home.
• Travel to clients in Cowra and surrounding areas.
