Job summary

BaptistCare At Home in Echuca is seeking a caring Care Worker to support older Australians in their own homes. You will assist with activities of daily living, transportation, and personal care while nurturing connections with clients in the Echuca community.

You will liaise with supervisors and a development team to ensure quality, compassionate care and help clients live independently at home. A driver’s license and First Aid are essential.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Australian Driver License and reliable vehicle
• Level II First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one
• Strong communication skills and patience
• Proficient user of smartphone technology, apps and email

Responsibilities

• Assist with household tasks and personal care (cleaning, showering, dressing, meal prep)
• Provide medication assistance and transport as needed
• Build genuine connections with clients and promote independent living at home
• Support clients in Echuca and surrounding areas with compassionate care
