Job summary

My Guardian Group is seeking a compassionate Carer to join our team in Bribie Island, Queensland. You will provide person-centred care, companionship, and support with daily living activities, including light housekeeping, shopping, and transportation to appointments.

Travel to Bribie Island 4507 may be required. You will monitor clients’ health, document changes, maintain dignity and privacy, and participate in teamwork and training opportunities to develop your skills in aged and disability

Qualifications

• Experience providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Experience supporting clients with transport to appointments and social activities.
• Ability to document services, incidents and reports accurately.
• Certificate III in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent is a plus.
• NDIS Check, First Aid, and Police Check are required or willing to obtain.

• Carry out light household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
• Monitor and record changes in clients’ health or behaviour, reporting concerns promptly.

Skills, Experiences and Qualifications

• Experience providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Experience supporting clients with transport to appointments, shopping, and social activities, promoting independence and community engagement.
• Strong ability to accurately document services provided, record incidents, and complete reports in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.
• Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent is a plus
• A valid NDIS Check, or willing to obtain one
• Current First Aid Certificate, as this is necessary to complete personal care
• Valid police check, or is willing to obtain one
