Job summary

My Guardian is seeking a compassionate Carer to join our supportive team, providing high-quality, person-centred care to clients of all ages and abilities. You will travel to Bribie Island, QLD 4507, delivering care with dignity and independence across daily activities.

Qualifications

• Experience providing domestic assistance (cleaning, laundry, meals) and maintaining a safe home.
• Experience transporting clients to appointments, shopping and social activities.
• Able to accurately document services, incidents and reports per requirements.
• Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent is a plus
• Current First Aid Certificate and police check or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and emotional support to promote wellbeing and reduce loneliness.
• Carry out light household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
• Monitor and record changes in clients’ health or behaviour, reporting concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate care records and ensure dignity, privacy, and safeguarding at all times.

Responsibilities of this role will include, but not limited to:

Skills, Experiences and Qualifications:

• Experience providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Experience supporting clients with transport to appointments, shopping, and social activities, promoting independence and community engagement.
• Strong ability to accurately document services provided, record incidents, and complete reports in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.
• Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent is a plus
• A valid NDIS Check, or willing to obtain one
• Current First Aid Certificate, as this is necessary to complete personal care
• Valid police check, or is willing to obtain one
