Job summary

My Guardian is expanding its care services across Queensland and is building an elite pool of Home Care Workers to meet increasing client demand.

The role focuses on companionship, helping clients live independently at home, and promoting social participation in the community. You’ll work in a flexible, client-first environment with ongoing training and pathways for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic assistance and supporting independent living.
• Strong communication and documentation skills with families and coordinators.
• First Aid & CPR Certificate, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability or Individual Support is highly regarded but not mandatory if you have the right experience.

What You’ll Do

You won't just be checking boxes; you’ll be changing lives. Your day-to-day will focus on:

True Companionship: Building real connections, reducing isolation, and supporting emotional well-being.

Independence at Home: Personal Care, helping with light household duties, cleaning, laundry, and meal prep to keep homes safe and comfortable.

Community Connection: Getting clients out and about—driving them to social activities, shopping, and vital appointments.

What You Bring to the Team

We value heart, reliability, and professionalism above all else. To set you up for success, you will need:

Experience in Care: A solid background in domestic assistance, community transport, and supporting independent living.

Great Communication: The ability to document care accurately and communicate effectively with families and coordinators.

The Essentials: A valid First Aid & CPR Certificate, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and National Police Check (or a willingness to obtain them quickly).
