Job summary

Pathway Talent is seeking dedicated Home Care Support Workers to join our talent pool for Inverell and surrounds, empowering older Australians to live with dignity and independence. As a Home Care Support Worker you will deliver personal care, mobility support, medication assistance, meal prep, and community access in line with individual care plans.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, Mental Health, AIN or equivalent.
• University students 2nd Year welcome (Allied Health, Nursing, OT, and related fields).
• Current First Aid & CPR certification.
• National Police Check (within 3 months).
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module.
• Valid NSW Driver’s Licence.
• Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Personal care and activities of daily living.
• Manual handling and mobility support.
• Medication assistance and administration.
• Meal preparation and nutrition support.
• Domestic assistance and household tasks.
• Community access, transport, and social engagement.
• Monitoring wellbeing and reporting changes in condition.
• Providing person-centred care in line with individual support plans.
• Assisting clients to maintain dignity, choice, and quality of life.

Education

About the Role

We are seeking dedicated Home Care Support Workers to join our talent pool toempower older Australians to live with dignity, independence, and choice while supporting their physical, emotional, and social wellbeing. Depending on support needs, your duties may include:

What you’ll need

• Minimum Qualifications certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, Mental Health, AIN or equivalent;or
• University students 2nd Year and above welcome to apply (Allied Health, Nursing, OT, and related fields)
• Experience with people living with Dementia (Desirable)
• Current First Aid & CPR certification
• Valid NSW Driver’s Licence
• Working with Children Check
• National Police Check (within 3 months)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module
• Ability to lift up to 10kg unassisted
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
