Job summary

RDNS Your Choice HomeCare is seeking a Home Care Support Worker to assist elderly clients at home with companionship, light domestic tasks and personal care in Kensington and surrounding suburbs. You’ll contribute to their wellbeing and independence in a respectful, compassionate manner.

Applicants should have Certificate III in Aged Care, 12 months’ home care experience, a valid driver’s license with own car, and current First Aid/CPR and Police Check.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual Support or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 months' experience in home care.
• Own car and willingness to travel up to 30 minutes.
• Valid Licence, First Aid/CPR and Police Check.
• Excellent communication and caring approach.

Responsibilities

• Domestic Assistance: light housekeeping, meals, ironing and laundry.
• Personal Care: dressing, grooming, showering, toileting, nutrition and eating support.
• Transport and Mobility: accompany clients to appointments and activities.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to elderly clients.
• Engage in friendly conversations and meaningful interactions.
• Ensure safety and comfort of clients.
• Report changes or concerns to the supervisor.
