Job summary

Australian Unity is seeking a part-time home health worker to provide in-home support services to our aged care customers, helping them live independently and safely in their own homes.

The role offers permanent part-time or casual contracts, with a pay rate of AUD 32.61–36.59 per hour, plus 12% superannuation, travel allowance, and paid travel time. A supported induction and additional benefits are included to support your start.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver’s License and ownership of a reliable comprehensively insured vehicle.
• Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Help at Home: such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation etc.
• Transportation and Personal Care: assist customers with appointments, shopping, social outings, showering, toileting, feeding etc.
• Client Awareness: building relationships with clients and their families, conducting client observations with ongoing support and training
• Safety Practices: adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe
