Job summary

Australian Unity is looking for caring professionals to support older Australians to live independently at home, delivering person‑centred care in clients’ homes across the Dungog area including Vacy. You’ll work 6 hours daily, 8am–3pm, Monday–Friday, with some weekend rosters for experienced carers.

We offer permanent part‑time or casual contracts with paid induction and ongoing training, a supportive team and opportunities to upskill, plus competitive pay and travel allowances.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months paid experience in an aged care setting.
• Must have a current Australian Driver's Licence with own car.
• Availability of 6 hours per day, 8am–3pm, Mon–Fri (some weekend rosters).
• Permanent part-time or casual contracts available.

Job description

About You

• Live across the Dungog area including Bingleburra, East Gresford, Gresford, Sugerloaf, Tabbil Creek, Wallarobba, Wirragulla, Vacy and surrounding communities
• Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car (no international license's or shared vehicles)
• Have 3+ months industry experience in a paid Aged Care setting
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 8am to 3pm, Monday to Friday (some weekend rosters available for experienced carers)
• Commitment to our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start!

What We Offer

• $34.80 - $36.59 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time
• Permanent Part‑time contracts: 20-50 hours per fortnight + flex up shifts
• Permanent Part‑Time or Casual Contracts
