Job summary

Australian Unity is seeking compassionate care professionals to support older Australians living independently at home in the Tanilba Bay area and surrounding communities. You’ll provide high-quality, person-centred care across domestic tasks, personal care, mobility and medication assistance.

Join a supportive team with paid induction, ongoing training, and flexible part-time roles offering stable hours and travel time compensation.

Qualifications

• 3+ months industry experience in a paid aged care setting.
• Hold a current Australian Driver's Licence with your own car.
• Live in the Tanilba Bay area or surrounding communities and be available for 6+ hours per day, 7am–6pm, Monday to Friday (one weekend per month).
• Complete the paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training at start.

Responsibilities

• Domestic support: cleaning, laundry and meal preparation.
• Personal care: showering, grooming, toileting & mobility support.
• Medication assistance.
• Social support, transport and companionship; promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing.

Join a supportive team helping older Australians (65+) live independently at home and make a real difference every day.

About You:

• Live across the Tanilba Bay area including Anna Bay, Boats Harbour, Bobs Farm, Corlette, Fern Bay, Fingal Bay, Fullerton Cove, Lemon Tree Passage, Mallubula, Nelson Bay, One Mile Beach, Oyster Cove, Salamander Bay, Salt Ash, Shoal Bay, Soldiers Point, Taylors Beachand surrounding communities
• Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car (no international license's or shared vehicles)
• Have 3+ months industry experience in a paid Aged Care setting
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday (one weekend per month required)
• Commitmentto our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start!

What We Offer:

• $34.80 - $36.59 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time
• Permanent Part-time contracts: 20-50 hours per fortnight + flex up shifts
• Permanent Part-Time or Casual Contracts
