Job summary

Uniting AgeWell Limited in Hobart is seeking Home Care Workers to deliver direct care, domestic assistance and social support to clients in the community. The role includes transport support; a valid driver’s licence and car are required.

Qualifications

Certificate III/IV or equivalent in Individual Support (Aged or Disability) or currently studying a Diploma/Bachelor in Nursing
Current First Aid and CPR certificates
Current Victorian/Tasmanian Driver's Licence
Experience in home care or domestic support is desirable
Understanding of client directed care and high standards of care for clients/families
Thrives in a team and in one-to-one interactions

Responsibilities

Ensure clients' rights, cultural and individual needs are incorporated in care and daily living
Work within a multidisciplinary team and escalate observations/concerns per policy
Provide outstanding customer service and maintain professional relationships with clients and families
Share knowledge and support colleagues to deliver quality care
