Job summary

BaptistCare NSW & ACT is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver home-based assessments and interventions for older adults in the Canberra region. The role focuses on reablement and restorative care to help clients live independently at home.

Applicants must hold a Degree in Occupational Therapy with AHPRA registration and have experience in aged care or rehabilitation. You will work in a supportive multidisciplinary team and can contribute to a wellbeing-focused, client-centred service.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy with AHPRA registration.
• Experience assessing community aged care clients.
• Post-graduate experience in aged care and rehabilitation.
• Understanding of reablement and restorative care models.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy assessments and interventions.
• Support independence, mobility, and confidence to remain at home.
